Craft Center Open House Showcases Local Artists
Brookfield Crafts Center's open house, from 1 to 4 PM, lets visitors meet more than thirty local craft artists associated with the Center who demonstrate their craft in buildings overlooking the Still River at Halfway Falls. Live demonstrations include: woodturning, pottery on the wheel, loom weaving, jewelrymaking, blacksmithing, torch worked glass, welding plus many others. 10th Annual By Land and By Sea: Antique Vehicles at Mystic Seaport
See the village, waterfront and ships bustle with activity as early 20th century cars, trucks and motorcycles go about the daily business of the 1920s.
